When its time to “wrap-up” the
season, we can coordinate your fall detail with your shrinkwrapping.
Shrinkwrapping protects your boat from heavy snows and winter
winds.
Shrink-wrapping is a ventilated, thick, form fitting plastic
cover for your boat that serves to:
- protects fiberglass etc. from harsh winter elements
- protects vinyl from moisture (from snow & rain) and
dry rot
- protects stationary electronics from moisture
- protection for boat hauling when traveling from road dust,
tar, etc.
- frame used as a support structure to prevent cave ins
& broken windshields
In addition, zipper doors can be installed to provide access
into boat. Because the wrapping keeps your boat warm, it is
a perfect place to do your winter jobs!
Typically, shrink wrapping is done in the Fall (at the end
of the season) and removed in the beginning of Spring or in
preparation for boat transporting.
In addition, no damp humidifiers are available to further
reduce moisture from entering that can cause mildew.
